Speech-Language Pathologist and Executive Director of Stutterfly
Dr. Steven Moates is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). He holds a clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology. He serves as the National Chapter Coordinator and on the Special Topics Committee for the National Stuttering Association, along with being an Ally of Stuttering. Dr. Scotty Moates has over 24 years of environmental conservation, engineering and compliance experience. He has held various positions with state regulatory agencies, along with consulting and within the energy industry. In addition to his full-time position, Dr. Moates is an Adjunct Professor at Samford University and the University of Maryland – Global Campus.
